of the leading minds in Christianity, then this book offers you a perfect entrance.
The author took the time to deeply understand and then the time to express that
understanding in a way that ANY non-academic will enjoy. I honestly have never
read a better book at making what is heavy and sometimes ponderous into something
light and an enjoyable read. I enjoyed it so much I read it twice. I think you will too.

This was an enjoyable and illuminating look at some of the well known molders of Christianity by an entertaining and capable writer.
An easy reading history of Christian theology leavened by humor. Cogently explains how Christian doctrines of trinity and that Jesus was both fully human and fully God came to be.
Knowledge of founding Fathers is important in developing ones faith. Daniel Harrell did a good job introducing them.
